Tech Success

In the spirit of service and giving back, Common Connections Foundation was able to raise funds to gift a laptop, African American Literature books, school supplies and face masks to three qualifying Chicago youth to ensure readiness and success with technological access for the fall 2020 school year! We are pleased to share that on September 22, 2020,
Ms. Victoria Williams, an educator at Ombudsman Roseland Alternative School was the recipient of our Tech Success Gift Award. We commend Ms. Williams for her work as an educator and hope that our Tech Success gift award will help bring success to her students for the fall academic school year and beyond!

Special thanks to NOBLE Chicago, the Williams Family Fund, Rev. Dr. Calvin Morris and South Shore UMC for supporting this initiative.

Covid -19 Safety

With the rapid spread of the coronavirus, Common Connections Foundation is dedicated to help keep our communities safe.  Our goal is to distribute 5,000 face masks to individuals and organizations throughout our Chicago communities, particularly our south and west side communities that have been impacted the hardest, to help mitigate the spread of this highly infectious and deadly virus. We've met our goal half the way by connecting with individuals and organizations such as
  • Reunite Chatham
  • Be the Movement
  • Eastern Stars Faith and Love Chapter 012
  • Delta Sigma Theta
  • Statesville Prison
  • Ministry One
  • Faith Tabernacle Baptist Church
  • Ephphatha Lutheran Church of the Deaf
  • South Shore UMC
We welcome and encourage those in need and who have experienced a shortage to submit a request on our contact page while supplies last.
